spend the day with ann on youtube. (nicole kidman asks to be my friend on myspace- it's obviously her press agent  or pr team but it's still fabulous). 

tonight my mother & i take my grandmother to the hottentots-holland hospital emergency room with her painfully injured arm (some of the personnel are callously unhelpful - a surly female receptionist brightens up when my mother approaches me & my waiting grandmother; unbeknownst, a male receptionist is watching 'knight rider' re-runs while patients are waiting inside). we're waiting till past midnight.
