listening to the cars & taxis hooting in the morning air i realize that they're echoes of the neighbourhood dogs who've been howling incessantly @ nite for the past few weeks (culture echoing nature or human nature reflecting the animal kingdom)...

eye spent working @ dion's club. the 1st movies eye watch with my mother are "the fly" & its sequel on weekend late-nite, which eye've wanted 2 c since childhood but my friends were never in2 sci-fi. i had a childhood crush on jeff goldblum & was surprisingly reminded that geena davis was the female lead.

my mother's friend, mrs. (voigt) koopman honors me with a standing ovation @ her 70th b-day function. (yesterday i held a space-age ovation guitar in hand @ the music industry development seminar @ artscape & won a fender mini-amp in a questionnaire with capetonian guitar idol james reinhardt's cues.) mrs.koopman says i make her feel young by calling her (church-) "sister" ...
